Fumiya Tanaka runs the highly respected Torema label out of Tokyo, was featured on Vol 4 of the Japanese Sony Mix Up DJ CD series (alongside Jeff Mills, Derrick May, ken Ishii & Takku Ishino), and this is his debut full length of studio tracks (recorded '96-97). Heavy duty minimal techno with the obvious nod to a post-Jeff Mills universe, ala Surgeon. An essential item if you so inclined, pummeling layers of mechanized repetition, with that organic anti-Euro glow that insinuates this ilk so beautifully.
